Terms & Conditions

Terms and conditions of your booking

These terms are applicable for all bookings made from 1st January 2024 onwards.

The Agreement

The person making the booking agrees to the contract with us (Gareth & Jodi Voyle) on behalf of all members of your party and is responsible for making sure they accept the contract, and for their behaviour when in our caravan and on Trecco Bay Holiday Park owned by Parkdean; and accepts financial responsibility for payment of the booking on behalf of all members of the party. We can’t accept bookings from anyone under the age of 18.

1. Deposit

The standard deposit to secure your booking is £50. On receipt of the deposit, your dates will be blocked from our availability calendar.

2. Payment Schedule

Pay in 3+ instalments

If your arrival date is more than 30 days away, you may spread the cost of your holiday and pay in instalments via Bank Transfer. Select Bank Transfer when booking – a payment schedule will be sent by email. The balance will be due 30 days before your arrival date.

Pay in 2 instalments

If your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you may pay a £50 deposit to book. The remaining balance will be due 60 days before your arrival date.

Pay in full

You may pay in full at the time of booking via WooCommerce or Bank Transfer. If your arrival date is fewer than 30 days away, payment is due in full at the time of booking.

Please note: if you do not pay the balance when it is due, we may treat your holiday as cancelled. Any cancellation will be subject to our cancellation terms set out in clause 6.

3. Refundable Security Bond

A £50 security bond is taken to cover damages and losses. We will inspect the property after check-out and refund the security bond within 5 days providing there are no damages or losses.

4. Special Offers

To claim any special offers, discounts and promotional codes please tell us when you book before making a payment. If you don’t, honouring them retrospectively will be at our discretion. All discounts, special offers and promotional codes are subject to availability.

5. Who's in Your Party

When you book you need to give the names and ages of everyone in your party. Only those people on your booking can occupy your holiday home and anyone not named on your booking will be asked to leave the park. In these circumstances, no refund or compensation will be given. You must bring ID with you as you may be asked for this on arrival or during your stay. The total number in your party must not exceed the maximum capacity of 8.

6. Cancellation by You

If you decide to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible by email: hello@yourseasideescape.co.uk – the email must come from the original booker. The date you contact us is the date of cancellation.

Although cancellations by guests are rare, and some cancellations are beyond a guest’s control, they can disrupt plans and damage business prosperity. For those reasons, if the guest cancels a confirmed reservation, or if the guest is found to be responsible for cancellation under these Terms & Conditions, we may impose fees which reflect the costs and other impacts.

In the event of a cancellation, we retain the £50 deposit paid at the time of booking.

Further fees are based on the booking amount and when the reservation is cancelled:

  • For bookings cancelled more than 60 days before your arrival date, there is no additional cancellation fee.
  • For bookings cancelled 45-59 days before your arrival date, the cancellation charge will be 20% of the Total Holiday Value plus your £50 deposit.
  • For bookings cancelled 30-44 days before your arrival date, the cancellation charge will be 30% of the Total Holiday Value.
  • For bookings cancelled between 1-29 days before your arrival date, the cancellation charge will be 80% of the Total Holiday Value.
  • For bookings cancelled on or after the date of your arrival, no refund is possible.

7. Cancellation by Us

In the rare event of us having to cancel your booking, we will tell you as soon as possible and you can choose either to have a full refund – including your £50 deposit – or accept any alternative arrangements offered to you (we’ll give you a refund of the price difference if the alternative is less expensive than the one you booked). We will have no further liability to you for this.

8. Pets

We are unable to welcome pets at the accommodation. Registered assistance dogs are welcome and we may ask for proof of their registered status.

If there is any evidence of guests having brought pets to the accommodation you will be required to pay an additional fee of £80 for deep cleaning.

9. Non-smoking Accommodation

We offer strictly non-smoking accommodation. Smoking and the use of E-cigarettes are not permitted inside the accommodation.

If there is any evidence of guests having smoked or vaped in the accommodation you will be required to pay an additional fee of £80 for deep cleaning.

If there is evidence of guests having smoked on the decking or grass (e.g. cigarette buts, burn marks) on the decking or grass surrounding the caravan guests will be subject to our Losses & Damages clause (10).

10. Losses & Damages

Where guests cause damage that is beyond normal wear and tear, we expect you to inform us of the damage as soon as possible and work with us to find a reasonable solution. Guests are expected to pay reasonable requests for reimbursement if they’re responsible for damage, missing items, or unexpected cleaning costs. In the event of loss or damage to the interior or exterior of the accommodation or decking, the security bond will be retained by us.

11. Check-in

The accommodation will be available from 4pm on your arrival day. Check-in is via a lockbox at the accommodation. The code is changed after every guest and will be sent to you on the day you’re due to arrive. If your accommodation is not occupied by 10am on the day after your arrival day – and you haven’t told us you will be arriving late – we will treat your booking as cancelled and may re-let the accommodation.

12. Check-out

Check-out is by 11am on the final day of your holiday. At the end of your stay, please lock all doors and windows, return the key to the lockbox and scramble the numbers.

13. The Price of Your Holiday and What it Includes

All prices are subject to change so could increase or decrease. The most up-to-date prices for accommodation are on our website. The price confirmed when you book is your final price. All prices include VAT. The price you pay includes:

  • Bed linen for all named guests
  • Tea towel
  • Hand towel in each bathroom
  • A limited supply of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, washing-up liquid, cleaning spray, toilet bleach and toilet roll
  • Use of a travel cot if required

The price you pay does not include Parkdean hub passes.

14. Parkdean Hub Passes

You may stay at the accommodation without acquiring hub passes – you are free to use many of Trecco Bay’s facilities e.g. shop, takeaways, outdoor park, splashpad without them.

Hub passes provide access to the park’s extended range of facilities, activities and entertainment. These are available to purchase when you arrive at Trecco Bay – please visit Owner’s Services. As a guide, 2023 prices were as follows: off-peak adult 7 nights £22.95, off-peak child 7 nights £17.95, peak adult 7 nights £27.95, peak child 7 nights £23.45 (adjustments made to pricing for shorter holidays).

15. Groups

Trecco Bay is a family holiday park and they do not allow “party” groups including stag and hen parties. The lead booker for a group is responsible for the conduct of the other members of the group and for ensuring they comply with these terms and conditions. We may require the lead booker to provide a deposit as security in the event of any damage by any member of the group. If your behaviour is disruptive to other guests or unacceptable, you will be asked to leave the park and in this event, no refund will be given. You must bring ID with you as you may be asked for this on arrival or during your stay.

16. Business and Commercial Use

Guests may not book for commercial or business use of the caravan without our written permission.

17. Maintenance & Emergenies

We have the right to enter your accommodation for maintenance purposes or in special circumstances such as an emergency.

18. Your Personal Possessions

You are responsible for your possessions on park and in your accommodation. We aren’t responsible for any loss or damage to these. If you leave personal possessions behind at the end of your holiday we’ll try to return them but are not responsible for them.

19. Behaviour on Park

Trecco Bay is a family holiday park so please ensure your behaviour is not noisy, offensive or likely to cause any harm or upset to other guests, staff or property at the holiday park, and is not otherwise inappropriate. If Parkdean feel your behaviour is illegal, offensive, disruptive or inappropriate or is disturbing other guests they will ask you to leave the holiday park and no refund will be given.
